Why does it matter what we post on social media? This course takes an in depth look at the meaning behind social media posts, and how they can be interpreted. Covering equality and discrimination it asks employees to think about the impact on others, of the words they type. We ask our students to take an honest and frank look at what they believe and why and educate them on echo chambers, fake posts and the importance of respect on social media. Developed in response to the rise in formal procedures being necessary as a result of inappropriate usage of social media, this course has been specifically designed to reduce conflict, disrepute and aims to further equality in the workplace and beyond. Drawing together real experiences and the most up-to-date research, this is a workshop like no other.
